Mid Year Freak Out Tag!

How’s it August already??!!! This year seems to be passing by in a blur but at the same time it’s so agonizingly slow!!

I know I’m 2 months late to this so I’ll be including books I’ve read till June only which means I’ve read like 35 books or so. You can find my 2019 one here. Also, 2021 starts in 5 months. Let that sink in for a sec. Woops! 😬🙊

Without further ado, lets get into it!

1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2020

2. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2020

3. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to

4. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year

5. Biggest disappointment

Had a few expectations; totally dashed

6. Biggest surprise

7. Favorite new author (debut or new to you)

Kacen Callender (Felix Ever After)
Rebecca F. Kuang (The Poppy War)

8. Newest favorite character

Rin from The Poppy War

Felix from Felix Ever After

9. Book that made you happy

10. Most beautiful book you’ve bought so far this year (or received)

11. What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

12. Goals for the rest of the year

  • Complete my goal of 50 books.
  • Keep reading diversely and consciously.
  • Promote more diverse voices.
  • Continue with Books Pe Charcha. Check out my favourite episode here.
  • Finish the books I’ve started and left midway 😂.

Until next time. Ciao!

Felix Ever After came so close to be being my number 1 favorite book of the year. In terms of my YA Contemporary reads, it’s absolutely up there.
I also can’t wait for Deadly Education and Addie LaRue!

Well as long as blogging makes you happy, that’s your groove! But also you put way more effort into your IG (esp with Books pe Charcha) so its understandable that blogging may not get all your time.

Thank you so much! That’s really kind of you! 🥺👉🏻👈🏻 And i like blogging. Most of the times I just procrastinate and other times I doubt if my content is worth it. These days I’m trying to be more like eff it. Imma put what I really care about and be vocal regarding! That’s why my last post was more than a book review! I just want to write more 🙈💜
